Alice,
I have a question about Bloglines. I tend to publish my posts when they are partially finished and then continually hit the “Save and Continue Editing” button. Are you getting inundated with RSS feed? If so, I am sorry. I just realized that may be happening the last day or so as I learned more about how RSS works.
Thank you for a wonderful 2 weeks. Hope you are keeping cool!
Theresa
Alice
I am having a problem with your email address and my blog so I am sending this via your blog.
I did the links but they are not working in my last two blog entries. I posted a link to the wiki from my blog through delicious so folks can access the site and see what I am doing.
I tried unlinking all my sites and then relinked them but I still can not get them to work.
HELP, PLEASE!!!!!!!
Theresa:
I am not getting inundated with RSS feeds. So far so good. Glad you have you in class. You are a great addition!

I fixed my problem
I was so overloaded. I was copying the whole address into thhe pop up and since part of it comes in I was doubling the http or the www so of course the link did not work.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THIS WEEK
You can e-mail me at alicebarr(at)mac.com I have also posted a note on your blog about the wikispace URL
Hi, Alice,
I write to tell you that I have completed putting a response on each of my classmates final project blogwrites.
I am going away to my other life where there is no internet connection. Not everyone has posted to my site, but more will and I will try to go to the library to batch process them on the 31st.
If the library hours have changed, I may be out of luck. I thought you should know that if the count is off, it’s me, not them. But I suspect that it’s the spirit of the thing that counts more than numbers anyway.
And just a personal note to thank you for your knowledge, high expectations, role model of accountability, grace under fire (heat?), risk taking, and positive attitude toward fielding questions.
Sincerely,
Laura Farnsworth
PS, I will keep you posted about the letterbox in Second Life. I have some queries out to the other boxers about if it has been done or how it could be done. A traditional box contains a handcarved rubber stamp and a handmade journal for finders to stamp their signature stamps into. Finders carry a signature stamp and a journal. Finders use the stamp in the box to stamp into the journal they carry. There are other ways to letterbox. There are hitch hikers, personal exchanges and postals, all with a small amount of ritual. There are other kinds of boxes–mystery boxes, hybrids, mini’s, personal, and so on. Some of us prefer to mostly hide, some to mostly find, and for others, it is the lure of the online community or social events that are planned.
We are from many walks of life, techies and trekies, teachers and homeschoolers, scientists, and well, you get the idea. The nerd factor is a little high, but really some of the nicest ones you will ever meet! As a matter of fact, I would take my personal stamp to your event in Augusta because it would be the perfect place to run into other boxer educators.
At any rate, what an enjoyable time I had, know I will use these tools, and know I will be in touch with my gazillion questions.
Thanks Laura! Enjoy RL (real life!. The letterboxing sounds intriguing. Will look forward to your answer. I enjoyed having you in class and thanks for the feedback! Have a great summer!
